English Estates: Dunhill County (3101) (2011)
Product Number: 004-002-20568
A compact, trim Billiard from Dunhill, this offering is rendered in Group 3 size, perfect for tucking into a pocket. Its compact length and smaller overall proportions does little to affect the respectably deep chamber, however. Dressed in the warm, pastoral tones of the County finish and paired to a traditional cumberland stem, this "01" is an especially handsome pipe.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.-Angela Robertson
