English Estates: Ashton Pebble Grain Dublin with Silver Spigot (XXX) (1985)
Product Number: 004-002-29276
Ashton is known for their classic shaping conventions, as well a proficiency in silverwork. This Dublin houses a deep chamber within a tall, gently tapering bowl. More to the point, though, is the craggy sandblast of the Pebble Grain series, which unveils an alluring grain array. Contributing to the striking aesthetics of this piece is a sterling silver spigot mount configuration, which serves as a pleasant contrast to the dark hues of the stummel. Also, it enables the pipe to be broken down, even while hot.-Angela Robertson
