Rendered in Barling's second-largest EXEL dimensions, this Canadian stretches to nearly six-and-a-half inches and boasts a bowl height near two. The long shank is a perfect place to highlight handsome cross grain, and the English marque has capitalized on this feature by applying the smooth finish and light traditional stain of its Ye Old Wood Special series. The bowl is not without it's charms, however, especially on the right flank where wonderful birdseye rules supreme. made during the Pre-Transition era, when the Barling family was still in control of production, this pipe represents an excellent opportunity to secure a fine smoker rendered in classic English style.
