English Estates: Ashton Pebble Grain Stack (XXX) (2017)
Product Number: 004-002-29501
This Stack by Jimmy Craig of Ashton features a bowl that's well over two inches tall. Such height is accentuated by the rather slender shank-and-stem combination, lending the bowl more visual prominence. Apart from the slightly more drastic proportions, this is one classically English piece made by a well-respected English carver and wearing a craggy application of the workshop's Pebble Grain sandblast. Waves of rippling ring grain cascade down the bowl, with plenty of rugged texture to wrap your fingers around.-Truett Smith
