English Estates: James Upshall Rusticated Bent Brandy
Product Number: 004-002-29606
A firm, upright bowl sits proudly at the front of this bent Brandy from James Upshall. Dressed in a handsome ruby stain, this piece boasts a richly detailed rustication, leaving plenty of craggy texture for the fingers to explore across the stummel. The diamond shank, reminiscent of a bulldog, adds a bit of muscularity that offsets the rounded taper of the bowl. With a black saddle stem that downturns at approximately the same height as the bowl, this piece is a fine bit of well-balanced, sturdy English craftsmanship.--Davin Hylton
