Plump and pert, this straight Apple from an unknown maker is a rather stout rendition of the classic shape, fitting in rather easily to Group 6 size. The bowl features some supple rounding through its walls, and the wide transition makes for easy thumb draping, the two elements making for a comfortable fit in hand. A sleek shank-and-stem combination keeps things balanced out back, while the black vulcanite of the stem works with the mahogany stain of the stummel to cultivate a look that is quite timeless.
