The bowl's slightly cinched waistline just above the transition provides a perfect perch for wrapping-fingers to embrace, while the shank-and-stem arrangement keeps the aft-side of the composition sleek and streamlined, allowing the bowl's expressive shaping to take center stage. It's dressed in a smoky, auburn-hued smooth finish that highlights dense fields of birdseye on either flank of the bowl.
