A larger example of the classic Dublin shape, paired here with a sinuous style shank and stem, this Tilshead is a fine piece from the village just up the road from Stonehenge. The bowl on this piece has a vibrant outward flare as it reaches the thick plateaued rim, maintaining a balanced composition with the slender curved shank and bent stem. Large but light, this pipe is a fine companion for a stroll. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel boasts excellent grain punctuated by attractive growth rings.
