English Estates: GBD Unique Straight Grain Spot Carved Bulldog (1960s-1980) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-32047

A towering, intriguing piece from GBD, this Bulldog is part of the English workshop's Unique line of Freehand designs. The dome-rimmed bowl is replete with twin beadlines and presents fluting ridges and furrows climbing the fore from the heel. The slender facets are crisply framed by firm lines, which allow the pipe to sit. The diamond shank eases from the transition to a saddle stem and gives the impression it's resting on the aforementioned furrows for quite a striking profile. The stummel is dressed in a warm, traditional stain that's bolstered by spot carving along the underside.
