English Estates: Dunhill Chestnut (4106) (2014) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-32734
This Group 4 Pot by Dunhill is a classic shape with an added flair thanks to its rich Chestnut finish and cumberland army mount. The muscular bowl is paired to an abbreviated shank equipped with the aforementioned army mount that allows the pipe to be broken down even while hot for easy cleaning and transport. A matching cumberland stem rounds out the composition, giving this piece a particularly lively aesthetic.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
