English Estates: Dunhill County Dublin (3) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-32736
Sleek and petite, this Group 3-sized Dublin from Dunhill poses a slender, forward-canted bowl at the fore of a protracted round shank and an abbreviated saddle stem of cumberland. The bowl flares from its firm, narrow heel to its broad, softly inflated rim, while the arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement trails out back and keeps the overall form lightweight and sleek. Primed to clench comfortably between the teeth, this gracile piece is handsomely dressed in the pastoral County sandblast, which accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar rather brilliantly.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
