This bent Bulldog from Sasieni pairs a broad, stout bowl to a crisp diamond shank and a steeply curved saddle stem of jet-black vulcanite. The diamond shank and the bowl's wrapping ridgeline provide structure to the composition and reinforce the shape's muscular build. A dark, striated rustication dresses the stummel and provides a unique texture for the fingers to explore, save for the rim, which is left smooth for a touch of contrast.
