English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (704) (4) (R) (1975) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-32846

Dated to 1975, this vintage "704" Stack from Dunhill is presented in handy Group 4 size. As one might expect, this Stack boasts a tall, upright bowl that stands proudly at the fore of an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl houses a good bit of chamber within its slender build, and even given its considerable height, it remains well-balanced within the overall composition. The Root Briar smooth finish dresses the stummel and accentuates fields of birdseye across the bowl's flanks.

The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
