A unique piece for Chris Askwith, this Acorn is a particularly curvaceous rendition of the traditional shape. The bowl is organically worked, curving smoothly outward from the oval shank, resting on a soft heel and featuring a domed, seamless rim. Out back, a polyester saddle stem offers an easy clench. Dressed in a rich walnut stain, the stummel displays fine streaks of flame grain around its supple bowl.
