English Estates: Charatan's Make Selected Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-36647
Charatan boasts a long, well-respected history of pipe making, with Frederick Charatan founding the business in 1863. Charatan is known for their whimsical, often non-traditional shaping style compared to other English marques, and this vintage bent Dublin fits right in with that tradition. The slender bowl is Stack-like in its chamber height and cylindrical shaping, displaying a craggy plateau rim at the fore of a lengthy, willowy shank-and-stem arrangement that rises slightly before turning down at the bit. Seamless and distinctive, this piece is further accentuated by a warm auburn stain, highlighting fine flame grain all around the bowl.
