English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (315) (2) (R) (1975) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-33291
An endearing, classic shape, the Prince can also be called one of the most elegant, as typified in this Group 2 size from Dunhill. Crafted in 1975 and displaying the form's characteristic low-lying, softly rounded bowl, this piece boasts a lengthy, tapering stem. Found here in the Root Briar series, which requires flawless briar, this vintage pipe is dressed in a warm, chestnut stain that elevates the birdseye along the flanks.
The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
