English Estates: Dunhill Chestnut (5122) (2017) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-33473

A classic, archetypal Poker, Dunhill's "22" design exemplifies the form's cylindrical shaping and sturdy-sitting capabilities, making it a bold and stoic desk pipe. Compared to other makers' versions, The White Spot's design lowers the transition considerably, orienting the shank's underside almost in line with the flattened heel. Such shaping both emphasizes the bowl's height in this Group 5 rendition, as well as ensures its stability.

A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
