Typically, Group 5 Dunhill pipes pose a bold, palm-filling substance. However, when rendered in the squat, broad-based "28" Diplomat design, the total size remains quite handy and manageable, on par with Group 3 or 4 sized renditions of some of Dunhill's other shapes. Essentially an oval-shanked Author, the Diplomat is a timeless classic with plenty of stout muscularity to its form, which is found here in the rare Russet smooth finish, showcasing a fetching mixture of the flame grain and birdseye.
