A robust Rhodesian from James Upshall, this pipe showcases a hearty bowl at the fore of its shank and stem, one which stands out immediately against the rest of the composition. This bowl is impressively thick, its walls flaring out to a high-set waist marked by a single ridgeline before tapering to the chamfered rim. A wide transition leads to a trim, tapering shank that's paired to a very slightly curved stem of jet-black vulcanite. The proportions here are almost Italian in the way they favor the bowl, and the stummel here is dressed in a warm mahogany stain that reveals a wealth of handsome grain throughout.
