This bent Dublin from Ashton is a slight departure from the workshop's devotion to classic English shapes, with craftsman Jimmy Craig incorporating a diamond shank, pronounced heel, and remarkably tight transition into the typically flowing design. However, this is a rendition of the profile that's fairly regularly seen in the English marque's portfolio. The bowl displays a very subtle flare, a serious-feeling interpretation for a Dublin and a form well suited to the dark hues and texture of the English marque's Pebble Grain sandblast. The Bulldog-like shank rises with aplomb to the matching diamond-shaped shoulders of a creamy white, bent tapered stem.
