In the early 20th century, Joel Sasieni worked at Charatan and Dunhill before moving on to found the eponymous Sasieni marque . An exceptionally popular pipe with American audiences, Sasieni strove to create great smoking pipes at affordable prices. This "London Made" stamped Billiard by Sasieni exposes flecks of birdseye that run along the slightly elongated shank, up the right flank of the gently tapered bowl, and to the trim rim. The vulcanite saddle stem tapers swiftly to a wide bit, while proudly displaying Sasieni's Two Dots.
