English Estates: James Upshall Smooth Bent Apple (P) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-33824
A bit more conservative in its proportions than many renditions seen from James Upshall, this bent Apple is pleasantly balanced, with the sturdy, tall bowl offering plenty of chamber and plumpness. An extended heel and high-set transition are met by a muscular, curling shank and elongated, gently downturned mouthpiece for a seamless, sweeping silhouette. This remarkable pipe showcases handsome striations of flame grain across the bowl's flanks, with riveting arrays of birdseye found along the rim and heel.
