Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This bent Pot from Ashton features one of their signature sandblasts, the Claret, which uncovers waves of growth rings and coats them in a candy-apple stain. Additionally, Ashton stamped this pipe with a "XXX" that reflects this pipe's substantial size and enhances one of the Pot's most essential features, a vast bowl ideal for lengthy smokes.
