English Estates: Ashton Brindle Bent Dublin with Silver (XXX) (2020) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-33787
Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This "XXX" bent Dublin by Ashton carries most of its weight, literally and compositionally, in the bowl, which gently flares to a rim that surrounds a deep chamber. A brown-black brindled vulcanite stem joins the chestnut-hued, sandblasted stummel at a silver band, offering a distinguished shimmer to a relatively dark pipe.
