English Estates: Ashton Old Church Canadian (XX) (1996) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-33805

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Canadian by Ashton shows the Dunhill shape-chart influence Bill Ashton-Taylor gained during his formative years. A subtly forward-canted bowl, a thin, protracted oval shank, and an abbreviated, vulcanite tapered stem complete the visage of a traditional Anglo-French Canadian. Ashton imparts a personal touch to this familiar shape with one of their signature sandblasted finishes, Old Church.
