English Estates: Canadian Club Smooth Bent Bulldog (163) (by Comoy's) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-33860

Crafted by Comoy for the Canadian Club, this "163" bent Bulldog is a rather gracile and sinuous take on the shape-chart standard, with its pronounced curvature and firm, architectural lines culminating in a composition that's equal parts fluid and structural. As is typical for the form, the bowl here is delineated by a pair of wrapping beadlines, demarcating the tapered rim from the flaring heel. Out back, a diamond shank emerges from the low-set transition before giving way to a steeply curved tapered stem whose downturn toward the bit encourages a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a dark auburn finish, the stummel reveals fine strands of flame grain across the bowl's surface.
