English Estates: Charatan's Make Sandblasted Bent Dublin (1160 DC) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-33773
One of the oldest English marques, Charatan played a significant role in the origins of the English pipe making tradition, centered around simple, lightweight pipe stylings. However, many of Charatan's designs incorporate dynamic shaping, altering established English pipe archetypes. This bent Dublin by Charatan sticks mostly to the traditional, with the exception of a sandblast lighter than most, decorating the pipe in a sandy color. The bowl tapers to the rim, just enough for the eye to notice, and is supported by a pronounced, rounded heel. The Double Comfort saddle stem, a Charatan specialty, wraps up the pipes traditional aesthetic.
