The flared bowl is rather pronounced in this piece, though it slims down toward the stout heel just a touch. The round shank on this pipe maintains a traditional balance with the size of the bowl, making a familiar yet novel first impression. The grain on this Perfection-grade pipe is what really stands out, however. Dense fields of birdseye wrap around the bowl in a truly exceptional display.
