English Estates: Ashton Pebble Grain Dublin (XX) (2011) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-34346

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Dublin by Ashton features a bowl that flares to a broad rim that is tilted slightly toward the rear, giving this pipe a tidy profile. Out back, the cylindrical shank has been flattened on the bottom, making this pipe a resolute Sitter. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in Ashton's Pebble Grain sandblast, staining the briar a dark-ruby hue and exposing craggy growth rings.
