English Estates: Charatan's Make Special Bent Billiard (4) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-34074
One of the oldest English marques, Charatan played a significant role in the origins of the Anglo-French pipe-making tradition, which centered around simple, lightweight pipes. However, many of Charatan's designs incorporate dynamic shaping, altering established English pipe archetypes. This whimsical rendition of the bent Billiard possesses a tall bowl with two facets on the lower flanks, offering an intriguing in-hand fell. Out back, the unique shank features a similar combination of curves and facets while retaining traditional Billiard proportions. Furthermore, the shank joins to Charatan's signature Double Comfort saddle stems, proving a comfortable clench and giving this pipe a sleek profile.
