English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (112) (2) (R) (1962) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-34053
A lean, lengthy Apple is presented here by Dunhill in Group 2 size, with its bowl perched at the end of a lithe stretch of shank and a elongated, elegantly tapered stem. Said bowl is wonderfully plump, with a supple rounding to its walls and a gentle taper to the rim, this piece promises a comfortable feel in hand or while clenched. Lightweight and streamlined, this charming, vintage piece is a beautiful example of the marque's earlier work and is dressed in the esteemed Root Briar Finish.
The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
