English Estates: Charatan's Make Special Bent Dublin (483DC) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-34582
One of the oldest English marques, Charatan played a significant role in the origins of the Anglo-French pipe making tradition centered around simple, lightweight pipes. However, many of Charatan's designs incorporate dynamic shaping, altering established English pipe archetypes. This "483 DC" bent Dublin by Charatan features a pert bowl that flares from a pronounced heel to a crisp ridge at the waist before linearly tapering to the broad rim. Out back, the low-set transition flows into a thick, bent shank that ascends to one of Charatan's signatures, a Double Comfort saddle stem. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a mahogany-toned smooth finish, highlighting a swirling array of flickering flame grain.
