English Estates: Charatan's Make Special Billiard (420) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-34877

One of the oldest English marques, Charatan played a significant role in the origins of the Anglo-French pipe making tradition centered around simple, lightweight pipes. However, many of Charatan's designs incorporate dynamic shaping, altering established English pipe archetypes. This "420" Billiard by Charatan pairs a towering bowl to a thick shank, manifesting a robust form. However, the curvaceous, rounded contours soften the muscular form, with the tapered stem also contributing to a sleek profile. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a chestnut stain, highlighting dashing swaths of birdseye on the bowl's broad flanks.
