English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (36ZU) (1975) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-34801

This "36ZU" Zulu from Dunhill boasts a dynamic silhouette, one that sees a tall, forward-canted bowl posed at the fore of a subtly bent shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank and stem's languid build promotes a comfortable smoking posture and keeps the shape looking fluid. The handsome Root Briar finish dresses the stummel and highlights fetching birdseye and cross grain across the briar's surface.

The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
