English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (LBS) (4) (R) (1970) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-35067

This vintage "LBS" Billiard by Dunhill comes in Group 4 size, owing to its moderately hefty build. The bowl's thick walls transition smoothly into a sturdy, elongated shank out back. Punctuating the shape is an abbreviated tapered stem bearing Dunhill's iconic white dot. This greater emphasis on the stummel allows the pipe to proudly display Dunhill's pristine Root Briar finish, which showcases lovely birdseye across both flanks.

The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
