English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (653) (3) (R) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-35477

Presented in modest Group 3 proportions, this "653" bent Billiard by Dunhill bears a classic, sleek look. The bowl stands upright, with gentle curves that transition seamlessly into a lifted, tapering shank. Flowing from the shank is a vulcanite saddle stem with a graceful bend that's poised for comfortable smoking. The stummel wears the warm auburn stain of the Root Briar series, displaying lovely birdseye across the right flank.

The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
