English Estates: Dunhill County (4209) (2009) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-36870

While Dunhill's "09" shape code typically denotes their Canadian shape, this piece is one of Dunhill's rarely seen Lumbermans, an offshoot of the Canadian. The bowl stands pert and upright, formed by straight walls reaching from the heel toward a flat rim. A protracted oval shank transitions from the bowl and joins to an abbreviated cumberland saddle stem, completing this Lumberman's classic form factor. Courtesy of Dunhill's County finish, the stummel wears a warm, earthy sandblast that complements the swirling cumberland hues of the stem

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
