English Estates: GBD Pedigree Bent Billiard (529) (E) (pre-1980) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37006

Originally from St. Claude France, GBD was one of the first pipe makers to craft pipes from briar. Despite their French origins, GBD moved to London at the turn of the 20th century, and is predominantly known as a British marque. This "529" bent Billiard offers quite a plump bowl, with an arcing fore and bulging walls that hint at the Egg-shape. Out back, the shank and stem rise high, creating a relaxed smoking posture and making this pipe a reliable jaw-hanger. Dressed in a mahogany smooth finish, the stummel boasts a wealth of attractive grain.
