English Estates: James Upshall Smooth Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-39943

James Upshall built a reputation on fashioning high-quality, handmade smoking instruments, and this Dublin perfectly showcases the English firm's precise shaping skills and penchant for robust, muscular proportions. A tall bowl flares upward from its rounded heel to its broad, flat rim, while an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement brings up the rear. The low-set transition and somewhat slender build of the shank and stem keep most of the visual weight anchored at the bowl, creating a rather neoclassical profile. Said bowl houses a serious chamber capacity within its thick insulating walls, which should ensure plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. Dressed in a warm, traditional smooth finish that showcases some fine flame grain around the bowl, there's plenty to appreciate about this pipe.
