English Estates: The Everyman Smooth Dublin (36) (by Comoy's) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37260

Progressing from boxwood to briar, the history of Comoy's pipe making is characterized by its strong familial ties. The marque's founder, Henri Comoy, took after his father Francois, who started fashioning pipes with his brothers in Saint Claude out of more rudimentary materials until he and his son Louis discovered the benefits of briar. In 1879, Henri would bring his skills to London, where he would set up a factory and serve as a key figure in English pipe making while working alongside his sons and nephews. Made for Comoy's sub-brand, The Everyman, this "36" Dublin possess a lean build, its pert bowl formed by smooth walls flaring gradually from the heel toward the rim. Transitioning from the bowl is a slender shank that pairs to a tapererd stem of jet-black vulcanite. The stummel wears a fetching chestnut stain the displays healthy grain all throughout.
