English Estates: Ben Wade Smooth Billiard (22) (pre-1965) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37264

Fashioned sometime before 1965, this "22" Billiard by Ben Wade boasts a stocky, Apple-like bowl that stands at the fore of a sturdy shank and a slender tapered stem. The bowl here is rich with curvature, its insulating walls possessing a supple roundness that softens the shape's profile and naturally indexes the fingers. The shank-and-stem arrangement balances the form and keeps the shape's footprint modest and relatively compact. A smoky smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights handsome grain across the briar's surface.
