English Estates: Parker Sandblasted Lovat Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-37459
A sub-brand of the venerable Dunhill, Parker pipes have been in production since 1922 and have showcased a design philosophy that's generally in line with Anglo-French classicism. It was actually quite rare for Dunhill's seconds to go through into the Parker brand, and as the years went by, the marque started producing their own line of pipes independently from the White Spot. With the forming of Parker-Hardcastle limited in 1967, Parker became a fully independent entity. This Lovat is a lovely example of the brand's shaping style, with a round, lengthy shank paired to a trim, black vulcanite stem. Up front, a hearty bowl balances the visual weight well, complete with a slight taper to the rim and plenty of space to enjoy the stummel's crisp, inky sandblast and handsome grain.
