English Estates: BBB Classic De Luxe Smooth Billiard (653) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-37335
Originally known as "Blufeld's Best Briars", the BBB eventually transitioned to "Britain's Best Briars" after the death of Louis Blumfeld. The company produced the first pipe to have a registered trademark and is still one of the oldest brands still in production today. This "653" Billiard from BBB pays homage to the traditional shape while incorporating rich hues and an elegant aesthetic. Standing firm atop the heel, the columnar bowl provides a satisfying feel in hand as its walls rise to a flat rim. A ninety-degree transition gives way to a slim and gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement to complete the classic silhouette of the beloved Billiard. The black vulcanite mouthpiece is an ideal companion for the rich ruby stain dressing the stummel. Displayed most prominently on the bowl, patches of cross grain and birdseye compete for the smoker's attention.
