English Estates: BBB Minerva Smooth Billiard (667) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37358

Originally known as "Blufeld's Best Briars", the BBB eventually transitioned to "Britain's Best Briars" after the death of Louis Blumfeld. The company produced the first pipe to have a registered trademark and is still one of the oldest brands still in production today. This "667" Billiard from BBB is a sturdy version of the classic shape. With a full-bodied heel and thick supple walls, the bowl of this pipe maintains a brawny build all the way to the rim. From a wide transition, the rounded shank effortlessly meets a tapering stem at the junction. The black vulcanite is a good match for the rich ruby stain across the stummel.
