BBB stands for "Britain's Best Briars" today, though when it was founded in 1860 it was as "Bloomfield's Best Briars." A storied English marque with over a century of history behind it, BBB presents us with this "J 30" Billiard: a sleek and impressively lightweight piece boasting a refined, gracile aesthetic thanks to its slender shank-and-stem combination. A wide transition gives way to this shank, which reaches out and extends slightly to meet the tapering stem, the combination calling to mind the Liverpool shape. This svelte arrangement places the majority of the visual weight onto the bowl, which stands out on its own thanks to a Stack-like height and easy forward cant. Said bowl sits on a rounded heel and grows tall walls that rise to a flat rim, offering a touch of curvature to appreciate while smoking and plenty of space to showcase the stummel's warm, Bruyere-esque stain.
