BBB, which stands for Britain's Best Briars, is one of the oldest English marques still in production, with its origins dating back to 1847. With its modest proportions and lean, lightweight design, this "658" Billiard from BBB is well-suited as an on-the-go smoker. The bowl's petite figure is lent a touch of softness, with smooth, supple walls curving gently from the heel toward the rounded rim, making for a figure that slips comfortably into the hand. Out back is a slender, arrow-straight shank and stem, with the stem featuring a gradual taper toward the bit. Finished in a warm, auburn stain, the stummel displays handsome birdseye across the right flank.
