English Estates: GBD Smooth Lovat with Silver (R9107) (1935) (Replacement Stem) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37421

Originally from St. Claude France, GBD was one of the first pipe makers to craft pipes from briar. Despite their French origins, GBD moved to London at the turn of the 20th century and is predominantly known as a British brand. This Lovat by GBD boasts all of the shape's characteristic features, including a firm, upright bowl, a protracted round shank, and an abbreviated saddle stem. An auburn smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights handsome grain across the bowl and shank alike, while a sterling silver band adorns the junction and ties the shape together with a dose of flash.
