This "420S" by Mayfair features a pert bowl that stands at the fore of an upturned diamond shank and a steeply curved saddle stem. Said bowl features supple walls that flare to a pair of beadlines set just above the transition, with these beadlines demarcating the tapered rim from the rest of the bowl. The shank's firm, structural lines lend some solid definition to the shape's outline and offer some rigid contrast to the otherwise curvaceous form. Dressing this piece is a warm smooth finish that highlights lively grain across the bowl and shank alike.
