English Estates: Dunhill County (4114) (1986) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37722

Dunhill's "14" shape is a timeless bent Dublin, the gently arced tapered stem meeting an upturned shank, creating a sinuous recurve in concert with the sweeping heel. The proud bowl rises out of the heel with a decided flare, terminating at the rim's edge, the flat surface containing a chamber of surprising breadth. Presented here in respectably hearty Group 4 size, this piece boasts plenty of substance in hand, and a build that's well-suited to jaw-hanging, all while maintaining a reasonably light weight. Dressed in the crisp sandblast and earthy stain of the County finish, this pipe showcases handsome grain and a timeless palette.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
