Though Hardcastle is mainly known as being a Dunhill seconds brand, many of their pipes are of their own make, such as this "45" Dublin, a classic, timeless rendition of the shape. A trim, neat interpretation of the chart standard, this piece is a lovely example of the Anglo-French style. The bowl here is rather reserved in its flare to the rim, standing atop a firm heel as it's paired to a sleek shank via a wide transition. Sleek and timeless, this pipe is light and balanced, making it an apt clencher whose looks are bolstered by the stummel's warm walnut stain.
